“If wine was to be written, it would be as a short evocative pastoral poem, an idyll.” - Sarah Dahman Hallgren
It’s in 2020, in the midst of the pandemic that Idyllique was created. Why then? Why not?! We really just intended to bring to Sweden a few wines we loved to drink while in France, so other people could enjoy them as much as we did. Is there ever a bad time for sharing? Quite quickly our common passion for wine took over, enhanced by our thirst for learning and discovering and tasting. This humble sharing project grew into a real mission.
For us, who are also partners in life, wine has always been a big part of it, seasoning almost all meals with family and friends, whether at the restaurant or at home. With Idyllique, and together with our partners vigneron.ne.s, we are hoping to bring some of the poetry of winemaking to you and the ones you love.

Robert Dahman Hallgren
Robert is a passionate chef, who has been working in the restaurant industry for 15 years. During these years in the kitchens of renown restaurants such as Thörnströms Kök in Gothenburg, Racine in London, or Frantzén in Stockholm, he has had the opportunity to try a lot of different wines. His interest for wine kept growing, and today, he believes the experience of food is holistic and cannot be dissociated from wine, atmosphere and service. For Robert, Idyllique is a way to share the wines he loves, their history. It is like sharing his cuisine with others, with the same passion and dedication.
Sarah Dahman Hallgren
Let’s start by saying that Sarah is born and raised French, which not only explains her strong love for food and wine, but also for debate, especially around the table. With more than 10 years experience in the corporate world, Sarah brings with her an approach of human-centered perspective and sustainability in business development. In practice, she will not only be taking the perspective of the clients, but also of the ordinary person sitting at the table whether at the restaurant or at home. For her, wine and food are subjective and personal experiences, it should be described with feelings.
Then there is the story behind the wine, the family, the hard-work, the choices made, and the history being written, the direction the domaine is taking. Apart from the gustative quality of the wine, we care deeply about promoting domaines with a true commitment to sustainability, as well as domaines led by women.
